Our laboratory has moved to The Centre for Neuroscience (CNS) at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. We were previously part of the Department of Biological Sciences, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Mohali.

We are interested in understanding the molecules and signals underlying normal brain function. Many of the molecules and mechanisms required for the functioning of the nervous system are conserved across phyla Our laboratory uses the free-living nematode, Caenorhabditis elegans as a model organism to understand the molecular and cellular basis of normal neuronal and symaptic function.

Our lab is currently staffed by a principal investigator, a post-doctoral fellow, six doctoral students, an SRF, a JRF, two undergraduate students, a lab technician and an administrative assistant.
